I really need to get back on a very similar eating plan to yours. I lost quite a lot of weight just by cutting out most processed foods/carbs and limiting the sugary fruits. Since the covid madness hit about the same time as my husbands illness and his death a year ago I have gained most back. You've motivated me to start back at taking care of me.
I've been on a similar diet mainly to decrease inflammation for arthritis. So I eat mostly meat, cut carbs & sugar, came off some meds that were lining me up for pre-diabetes.
I had an appt with family practice about month or so after I started. He asked how I had lost weight at my age when people usually gain weight. (He'd gained quite a bit.) Told him I watched that Dr Ken Berry on YT & started that meat low carb.
Some are positive, some aren't. Don't care! It's for me! Not them!

I'm a couple years older than you and a diagnosis of LADA diabetes was my motivator. I prayed over these changes and felt they were really urgent. I'm mostly ketovore, but eat the few same veggies and fruit as you. I'm so happy for your success and I think you look wonderful. Here's to better health and getting stronger. God bless you.
