I sure wish you lived within a couple hundred miles of Boise, Idaho*, because I’d load up my tools and my toxic masculinity, and fix your car for free, because that’s what I charge. Well, free plus some homemade chocolate chip cookies.

The stupid thing that can work, no kidding. Replace the gas cap. My 2006 Kia just pulled the hinky air system error code on me and it was the gas cap. If it works it ain't stupid. But get factory or GOOD OEM. Don't go cheap.
