I thought of something today, as many were not alive on 9/11, 22 years ago. 22 years after Pearl Harbor JFK was assassinated in 1963. I was almost 10 years old, Vietnam was beginning and we were in a cold war.
God bless them indeed. It is easy to talk about when we are not involved in any of the deaths, but I can see where there would be some who would mourn even more because they thought it was suicide. I've never come down hard on the suicide issue. I do believe in once saved always saved. Jesus died for me once, and only once.
I don't remember discussions of calling the Falling guy or any of other bodies seen falling as suicides. Maybe that is because I never considered it as such. It was a choice, die by fire, die by being crushed or die this way. In anyway they were going to die, and the knew it.

I was two when JFK was murdered. Though I have a few very early toddler memories, I have no memory of that.

It was reported that some of the families fretted about this. God bless them.
My cold fury from that day has never left, nor the guilt that I wasn't on any of the planes.
On the fifth anniversary, I took AA 25, the renumbered 11, to LAX. Nothing was going to happen 9/11/2006.
