Juliette, as usual, this analysis seems spot on and perfectly said. I am only a long time observer of events, but I believe you are exactly right. While reading this I couldn’t help but think about the Kennedys, (despite THEIR OWN fraught aroma), and the death of the entire “regular” Dem party at the hands of the organized Left. It feels like two separate heads of the same hydra.
You are so correct. The same is true for white children whose models are those girls who writhe in clothing or no clothing inspired by the evil one. Rappers are listened to by white as well as black, and by those in other nations who are of different "races." All humans, of course.
I do believe there are some God anointed black leaders and leaders for all races, we do not get to find them easily, we must go looking for them. We should do that and give them what publicity we can in our own small way.
You mention Obama almost in passing, but I find him fascinating precisely because he is a manufactured "leader." But he is in some ways sui generis, as he began with an act of conscious self creation, that is, long before the DNC and national media picked him up he embarked on writing his own origin myth, which the powers that select such people seized on ready made. There was no need for the media or political operatives to begin the meticulous crafting of a heroic persona, as we saw in Bill Clinton and "the man from Hope."
Obama arrived fully formed, almost like Venus springing from Zeus' forehead, with his Campbellian Hero's Journey prepackaged and ready for delivery. Obviously he was lucky and received many breaks. But I made some remarks on "bad luck" on your piece "Lucking Out." I believe the converse to such bad luck is the good luck that comes to people who are adept at recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities. For whatever reason, Obama carefully established himself to fit the progressive Dream Black Avatar. Whether he was looking that far ahead while attending prep school in Hawaii or if he gradually became aware of possibilities as he grew and matured, we're not likely to ever know. We cannot ask him, for one thing we can know for certainty regarding him is that he will never give a frank and honest statement on his favorite topic, himself.
But yes, you are correct that "Black Leaders" are pre-selected and presented as such. Sadly, the black community is America has been so beaten down and warped by Democrats from the beginning that it's nearly impossible at present for any truly organic movement or person to arise within it. Those who do break free from the shackles and stand on their own are instantly denounced as inauthentic and worse yet. as race traitors. The game is rigged.
Communities are built from the ground up. As much as they love the word "community," leftists do not understand this. That's because for them everything is top down. Nothing happens until the Great Leader decrees it, or the structural equivalent.
This is why leftists are so bad at building anything that works. Because they cannot get their minds around the concept of "organic," to use another word you relied on in your post. You mention "community organizers," which is a great irony. Communities are the opposite or organization, they grow spontaneously and organically. They are built starting at the lowest level, that being the family, and go from there.

Thank you for another well written and understandable piece!

This one is about as close to perfect as it gets.
Also very true
Hi Peter!
As I implied to my cousins, black leaders are many if smaller in scale. Other leaders, too.
Communities are built from the ground up. As much as they love the word "community," leftists do not understand this. That's because for them everything is top down. Nothing happens until the Great Leader decrees it, or the structural equivalent.

White leaders aren't much better and sometimes even worse. It's complete cultural decline all around.
One of the interesting things about this phenomenon is that "black leaders" are generally chosen by white Democrats.
Both chosen by the organized elite.
