In 2004, my most rewarding year as a teacher, I had the privilege of teaching a classroom of refugees (ages 6-12 - a one room schoolhouse!) from refugee camps from several African countries. I witnessed amazing God-given talents emerge, and I knew there was a lot of amazing brain power and athletic ability being smothered every moment of every day, as the families of my students struggled to survive the harsh life that was their constant reality. But who in my classroom learned the most that year? The teacher, of course!
G'day and Blessings Juliette, I am so happy to hear from you. And, as usual, with clear, reasoned insight that is helpful and speaks truth.
Truth: Jesus our Lord and Savior is Truth and as we humans embrace that fact, humanity is benefited in His Blessings. My best -always- Missy J. (Wayne)
Great post and great thinking on a "triggering" subject. I trust your words on this. Keep it up.
