You Might Not Believe in Principalities and Powers
And they’re counting on it
All of this. All Of It - mere battles in the Principalities and Powers War.
This includes the killing of Austin Metcalf by Karmelo Anthony - which was a spark - the celebration of that killing by black persons, the fomenting of racial hatred by white and black persons … let’s see … did I miss something?
Oh yes, the misuse of the GiveSendGo donations which the Anthony family used to rent an expensive home, sparking further outrage and hatred.
Over and over again I point out that those who are not followers of Christ are prone to the machinations of the tribal spirits that rule over their ethnicity.
These spirits desire human death; they rejoice at spilled blood and are never satisfied. That’s why every time things seem to be settling down, the battles escalate anew. This time it was a 17-year-old black boy-man with a knife. Who will it be next time?
They look for people like Anthony who have unguarded spirits, just like they looked for and found Dylann Roof and Seung-Hui Cho and Omar Mateen and all the others, regardless of ethnicity, going back for millennia.
It doesn’t matter what their professed intentions or ideologies are. They are just vehicles for the bloodletting. (The undeceived know that the carcass color of the vehicle doesn’t matter.)
They’re looking for you, too - and for me. But my spirit is hidden in Christ and with Him, there is no racial division. For followers of Christ, He is our color. Our banner, which is one of His names.
When I watch, read, and listen to all of the ugliness pouring out of this escalating war, I can’t help but see things from this perspective.
Matthew 24:7 and aren’t those numbers prophetic? Jesus the Christ pointed to the deception inherent in the nation vs. nation wars and that’s what I’m pointing to as well.
I implore any individual out there - it doesn’t matter what your color is; it doesn’t even matter if you’re a Christian or not …
Don’t be deceived by the enemies of all of humanity.

True words, Juliette. A white leftist trying to burn a Jewish family in their home, a black kid stabbing a white kid, or a Guatemalan torching a woman on a train. Jesus’ command of love isn’t just because it’s nice; it’s that the other choice becomes intolerable evil.
Juliette, I've read your columns off and on for years. I think you started as simply "Baldilocks." Anyway, we are of similar views. This whole mess is so disappointing, that Karmelo was determined to make a name for himself or something. I hope he gets what he deserves in court, because he didn't have to bring a knife to a track meet. May God bless you. Rick Daughety
