It’s raining in LA, which is nice and it always reminds me of my perennial opinion that LA could use a good washing. It could also use a good cleaning of the sewer system. The city is flooded every year with the first seasonal rain storm.

A few years back I bought a big yellow rain poncho just for days like today. But the rain wasn’t the only unusual thing.

My normal distance target is 3 miles which is around 57 to 61 minutes. Today my time was 74 minutes. The book Can’t Hurt Me is definitely having an effect on me.

The new goal is 120 minutes. No more than that, however.

Again I cut a new path. My old reason for doing this was to avoid a certain person, but the new one is to push myself past my comfort zone. I did that today.
