Okay here’s the push. I’ve been working on a piece which will be at least a two-parter. It’s about the ramp up of enmity between Christians and Hebrews/Israelites/Jews.
I have a smattering of knowledge about the history of the church and of the children of Israel, but I want to be very thorough about this, so that when I piss people off, it won’t be because I got too many things wrong.
Have I done things like this before? Yes. Also, my lamented Herding series took a lot of time and effort.
As you know, I’m in dire straits financially, but I want to have enough time to do this piece justice. My donation goal is still over $2000, but I’d like to half that today just to keep my landlord from texting me.
About the car: I’m going to sell it. From the time that my generous friend gave it to me it’s been a money pit - not because it’s a bad car (it has given me no mechanical problems), but because the physical attacks on it have been too many and the insurance is simply out of control. I spent $2000 on it just from the first time it was vandalized.
I’ll be using Uber or Lyft.
So go ahead and hit the tip-jar while I work on this project which will probably draw even more spiritual attacks into the physical realm. Just trying to be obedient.
