Most sickening was to read about Robert Byrd. What an execrable human being.

The US military was desegregated after the Civil war. It was resegregated by the racist democratic president, Woodrow Wilson.

Wilson was the absolute WORST president of the 20th century. Surpassed only by James Buchanan in US history for truly reprehensible beliefs and actions as President.

Wilson began the march towards Progressivism. And with great irony today's Progressives ripped the name of Woodrow Wilson off of a Princeton University school....

Love this epilogue so much!

I work with veterans. I don't know how many of them know about Dorie Miller (I know I didn't). I can't wait to share this with them. Thank you!

Thank you for a wonderful tribute to Miller. It’s a shame that more Americans don’t know of his actions. I’ve always had a great deal of admiration and respect for the Red Ball Express drivers as well - another group that I wish more people knew about - so critical to the victory in Europe in WW 2. Unsung heroes under extremely difficult circumstances.

The 1970 film ‘Tora, Tora, Tora’ depicted his Miller’s actions correctly and without schmalz.
