Supernatural, Part Two: Their Father

As I said in Part One, this series is from 2018, but I altered this part of it significantly due to current events.

Remember, too, that, I have a narrative to compose for the end of this series and I want to make it entertaining!

Here’s something I said a few years back:  

We Christians are familiar -- some only passingly familiar -- with Jesus’ assertion that the Devil is the Father of Lies. That is, he is the progenitor of everything that is false. Let’s stipulate that and go further: he is the architect and builder of Lies.  

God is building His kingdom, and so the Adversary is building his.  This adversary does deal in simple falsehoods, but those aren’t his most lethal weapons. He is an imitator of his enemy, God, and therefore, his deceptions are high, wide, deep, broad, complex—and long-term.  These types of deceptions are four-dimensional at the very least; they are his weapons of mass destruction. 

I received little to no feedback on this observation. But I know with every fiber of my being that it's true. In today's news alone there are dozens of examples of the complex lies and corruption woven into the fabric of this country -- of this world. 

There are many examples I could use, but only one is primary in my mind right now: the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  As of now, Russia troops are allegedly overrunning Ukraine – if mainstream and social media are to be believed (always a question) -- and everyone outside of those countries is watching it real-time.  

Before the operation began, the Biden Administration seemed to think that its efforts at diplomacy would dissuade Russia’s President Vladimir Putin from his intended action.  

But is that what the Biden Administration was really trying to do?  

I contend that the Biden Administration’s efforts a were Diplomacy Theater and that this administration has always intended to fund this invasion and, at the same time, break the middle class in America.  

The Biden administration has done this by smashing the energy independence that Former President Trump shaped for this country and has caused us to be dependent on Russia – and other countries -- for our various types of fuel. (Of course, neither President Biden nor Vice President Harris made any of these decisions but are doing what they are told. That Harris seems half-hearted about her role as vice president in general, and her task to talk up the Biden Administration policies in particular, is evidence, though I also think she is horribly unsuited for her office. And I’m not talking about her politics.) 

So it is that the US taxpayer and buyer of gasoline is involuntarily funding Russia’s war.

And this charade -- this freaking skyscraper of lies -- has many more floors and goes way down past the basement, to stretch a metaphor probably past its usefulness. And people are actually blaming Donald Trump for it, citing his cordiality and compliments toward Vladimir Putin as they pay a minimum of 100% more at the gas pump than they did when the awful Trump was president! 

To sum it up, it is a perfect example of the complex spiritual and physical deceptions that the Devil builds.  And it’s right in front of all our faces.

I don't know how anyone cannot see this but many who can smell the fetid stank coming off of the narrative feel helpless.

But that is deception, too. Don’t fall for it.
