My landlord needs $2000. And my car is no-go for a bit. (Forever? I hope not.) There are electrical and computer issues that keep me from passing a smog check. You may remember that I fund-raised for some engine problems a year ago. Now it’s all of the connections that are giving way.
My car is an old girl.
I’m looking for a reliable mechanic and people in the know tell me that only a Chrysler mechanic would be worth the money. So I’ll be riding Lyft and Uber for the foreseeable future.
More content tonight!
Question: what would you like to read about coming from my perspective? I have some things in mind, but guess what! I’m tired of talking about race. I’d like to read your suggestions. (However, if the suggestion is about race, but interesting, I won’t automatically discard it.)
Tell me what’s on your mind.
Just off the top of my head....
1. I think you've already done it, but do most conspiracy theories have any validity?
2. Walking the tightrope between "loving your neighbor" and not agreeing/approving with what they do. I'm not talking about obvious political/woke issues, either. I'm talking about friends/family that we dearly love, who say or do things we can't/don't agree with. Same with people who call themselves Christians but spew hate on social media or casual conversations.
Corollary - when is love actually love, v. enablement or prejudice masquerading as love. As individuals, how can/do we recognize that in ourselves so we can correct it?
3. The incredible amount of pharisees in Christianity today, and how not to be one.
4. Memories of your USAF time, especially in Berlin. Why did you join USAF, etc.
The potential for unifying the country has been on my mind. How realistic do you think it is? What circumstances would be ideal in order for it to happen?
