One of my favorite stories is of Robert Smalls. Guy should have had a film made about him.

As I recall, I read several of the lesser known speeches (linked) from these gentlemen and picked Mr. Cain‘s to feature.
Still good work and under reported. Maybe pulling this up every year would be good, or have you already done it?
