Ms. Juliette, I hope you had a wonderful birthday today!
Thank you for dedicating so much of yourself in your writings - sharing your thoughts and heart plus offering some light in this seeming ever-darkening human-existence. If I may presume a little, you reflect Jesus our Christ's light and I think if that were all that happened from your efforts, you'd be fine with that. Blessings dear lady - as you richly bless me! (WrH)
Yeah, I'm often left aghast when I realize that the 'kids' - those younger than the Baby Boomers (who, for all their faults, at least had access to teachers who were both competent and passed that knowledge of history on) - are the MOST able to know American and World History, now that the Greatest Generation has largely passed on.
Unfortunately, the trend of grandparents retiring to distant places (for a time, we lived far from our families, too) is ongoing. It's been solidified by the growth of the Senior Communities and progressive living setups, that take a senior from needing slight assistance with daily tasks in their own apartment, to day in, day out, full nursing home care.
Probably the best decision we made was to move back near family again.
I am heartened to see that many people are hooked on the History and Discovery Channels (even though they lean left). Still, a little knowledge, even with a Leftist patina, is better than none at all.
I do my part - I'm looking forward to buying a few books detailing the information gleaned from The Venona Papers, and lending them to people open to the information.
Dumb me not aware of a good way to communicate Missy J so I'm trying to do so by commenting, albeit on an old posting...
Merry Christmas! I do hope you are okay - not to poke my nose in where not appropriate, I simply worry a bit about you and not having heard from you for a little while, well, please know I care. Be Blessed Juliette! (Wayne, a Bro in Christ from Weiser Idaho. BTW, rhymes with Geezer...)
Lack of historical knowledge will kill us all
They really think we are that stupid. Or....maybe we are.

I learned something new, should I be embarrassed?
Hoping you’ve had a very good day.
