Veterans remember how many VA medical centers did not immediately put a portrait of Joseph Robinette Biden in a place of honor after he was inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States. It was very strange.
I’ve been to one of the local VA’s two or three times since then, but never thought to ask about it until today.
As it turns out there is a picture of President Biden, along with one of VA secretary Denis McDonough, in the West LA VA Medical Center. Not a big portrait as was so for Presidents Trump, Obama, and Bush, but a small picture.
Look at this.
These pics are hanging in the foyer of the front entrance to the hospital, where almost no one would notice it. The framing is cheap, and the rack is too close if you ask me.
I bet the local VA administration head honcho paid for the frames, had the photos enlarged, and got the security guards to hang them because he/she knew there was no portrait of the current commander-in-chief forthcoming.
What does it mean?
UPDATE: A Twitter follower noticed something that I didn’t.
It reminded me of the blurred presidential seal.
That's really interesting.
