A Few Changes
One of the reasons that there are such large gaps in between postings is that, sometimes, I try to make money using more conventional methods. Then the end of the month comes and I ask my readers to help make up the difference. And you always come through.
What I’m going to start doing is offering paid content again. I got a lot of complaints when I did that before, so it will be about once every 7 to 10 posts. And it will usually fall under the category of extensive research; if it has a lot of links, I’ll put it behind a paywall. But I will not do that very often.
And my free content will be available at various locations as always
Substack is the least frustrating of all the platforms that help writers and other content creators publicize and get paid. You don’t have to beg to be let into the club, like you do with some platforms. You simply create and publish and people subscribe, free or paid. Or they donate. So I’m not going anywhere.
