Ochieng is a Kenyan name (Luo tribe...like Obama). Kenya’s President’s name is Uhuru, which means ‘Freedom’. Just sayin.

I live in Auburn--since a year ago. Before that, Oakland. I haven't worn a mask outside of an airplane or doctor's office since...March 2020. I refuse. Maybe one person has ever said something to me. I noticed that even since the little martinet's order about masks, very few here in Auburn are wearing them. Irish democracy. It is time we all became ungovernable.

Those who refuse to govern their own actions responsibly will soon find themselves governed by others. I'm disappointed to hear that Auburn, CA has become filled with outsiders who are rude and inconsiderate of others.

P.S. AJ, you won't like living where everybody chooses to be "ungovernable". It won't be a romantic Liber-topia. Rather, your life will become solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.

Baaaa, little sheep, baaaa. Those who dutifully bend the knee before the neo-authoritarians drunk on power will soon find themselves stripped of every liberty, having their God-given rights parceled out as privileges.

Read some studies on masks. They do not prevent the passage of nanometer-sized aerosol particles of virus either in or out. That is, masks do nothing to protect the wearer or others from respiratory viruses. They are nothing more than a symbol of subservience.

Those who choose to live in fear, because some public figure merely told them that they might be threatened instead of engaging their common sense to see if said figure has it right, are neither responsible, nor have a right to impose their will upon others.

If you want zero risk, turn in your car keys, and don't put others at risk by shipping your stuff to you.

Does "governing your own actions responsibly", by your accounting, include wearing a mask - while vaxxed - to protect the unprotected from you, who are ostensibly already protected? I would rather become ungovernable and risk a life that, as you put it, is solitary, poor, brutish, and short, than be an obedient wuss who cedes their own personal authority and autonomy to tyrants. Ungovernable it is.

"Resistance" against the Second Great Commandment, "Love thy neighbor as thyself,"

is not recommended.

Why did the American people tell Trump "You're fired!" in 2020? Because most people do not wish to be governed by a self-serving self-centered bully who surrounds himself with even more self-centered fans. You fit the profile, GK.

Self-centered bullies don't respect federalism, engage in regulatory reform that removes bureaucratic burdens, support energy independence that reinforces freedom-of-movement, and support prison reform to restore the proper balance between the crime and the time.

Trump did all that. And respecting individual liberty like that is the primary way a government of/by/for the people loves their neighbors (and Naybors).

At one time, I thought you were conservative. Guess I misread you.

Don't you have a precinct to walk somewhere?

Yes, things are going to get worse here before they get better. I got the side eye today, maskless, for the first time ever. The Obedient People mean business these days.

Be belligerent first. There is no percentage in letting them cow you. I often asked the masked why they keep touching their masks--don't they know that *now* they're useless?

Or I point out the gaps. Your mask is letting all your virus escape! Or I ask them if they are sick. Since masks "don't protect me, they protect YOU!" Why are you wearing a mask? Are you sick? If you are sick, go home!!!! You are infectious!

Maybe I am such a ferocious cunt that no one is willing to approach me. If so, I welcome that. I am long past the point of indulging these imbeciles.
